Choose a place to keep Rabbit Pet

Rabbit can be kept indoor or outdoor. You can keep a rabbit in a cage inside your home or you can keep it a hutch which can be placed outdoor. Before buying a cage or hutch, make sure that its size is large enough that pet can jump and play in it easily. Rabbits are very energetic and need some space to make fun. You would need to put toys and feed inside that hutch or cage.

Rabbit need food on regular intervals. They also require fresh water available all the time in their cage. In natural environment rabbits eat fresh grass and other such things. Vegetables and grass are favorite rabbit foods.  Grasses is essential for rabbits.

In natural environment, rabbit exercise, eat fresh food and do other activates. Such activities help them to burn calories. Rabbits kept at home do not get that much exercise. Rabbit pets need some training before they become familiar with new environment.  Children should not be allowed to pick up rabbits until rabbits have been training. Rabbits learn quickly, so they won’t need too much time in training. Rabbits cannot differentiate between eatable and not eatable things. They may try to chew wires and others such things. So you should take care and rabbit should not be given such things to play.
